Meditation and yoga, both in small and large doses, are amazing gifts to yourself! Not to mention, if you can manage to get both of those in a setting like the beach or out in nature, you’re set. Just like my good friends with Girl Get Outside, I try to get plenty of exercise along with clean air and a good mind-reset on a regular basis. Sometimes we face anxiety or stress that we don’t know the source of, and can’t seem to find a cure for, which often results in turning to junk-food or sweets; I am so guilty of that sometimes! But what many of us don’t realize is that all we need is a good walk or yoga sesh to snap us out of our funks. Sometimes if I just plop myself on my lawn right outside, I instantly feel better.
It’s never too late to try meditating or yoga. It can be intimidating at first, but just remember that it is a journey and the goal is already met as soon as you begin that journey.
